About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph of the Pines, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and lead a team of nursing assistants in delivering high-quality care. The role includes coordinating day-to-day nursing functions, collaborating with other resident services, and supporting quality assurance, training, and safety compliance. St. Joseph of the Pines serves older adults through a network of life plan communities, healthcare, and community outreach in the Sandhills region.

Requirements

• Possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the state.
• At least six months of experience as a staff nurse in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Display professionalism in appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community surveys and drive corrective action.
• Direct day-to-day nursing functions in accordance with current regulations.
• Collaborate with other resident services to ensure holistic care.
• Contribute to the development of the quality assurance program.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and informative nurse notes.
• Administer medications.
• Make daily rounds to ensure exceptional care standards.
• Assist with training and ensure safety compliance.
• Review care plans daily.
