About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the MedSurg Department at Avita Galion Hospital. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care within the unit; ensures continuity of care between shifts through direct care and supervision of nursing assistants, LPNs, and supportive staff; participates in patient and family education; and serves as a patient advocate in support of the organization’s mission. This is a full-time position working 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with every-third-weekend and holiday rotation, for 72 hours per pay period. A commitment bonus of up to $25,000 is offered.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of previous nursing experience.
- Previous telemetry experience.
- PALS certification for charge-trained nurses.
Responsibilities
