Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Commitment Bonus
About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department and coordinate care planning with other disciplines. The nurse provides care addressing patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general needs, and prioritizes care according to patient needs and factors affecting patient flow. The position communicates patient-status changes, symptoms, and diagnostic study results to ED physicians, and responds promptly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The posting identifies Avita Bucyrus Hospital as the team location in its introduction, but later lists the work location as Avita Galion Hospital – Emergency Department. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., part-time, 48 hours per pay period. A commitment bonus of up to $5,000 is offered.
Requirements
- Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS Certification.
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC certification within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care within the Emergency Department.
