About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the Nursing Process collaboratively to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with the RN’s scope of practice. The RN supports the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on the assigned unit.

Requirements

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• Successful completion of department-specific orientation and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and an EKG class within the three-month introductory period.
• Complete Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of hire.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be granted through the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
