Registered Nurse PD
About The Position
DaVita is seeking an organized, self-directed Registered Nurse to manage Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) patients. The role combines clinical care, patient education, and case management. The nurse educates patients and caregivers in-clinic so they can perform dialysis independently at home, manages a caseload of PD patients, monitors treatment progress, conducts home visits, provides on-call support, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, high-quality outcomes. The schedule is Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts, with weekends and holidays off. Scheduling is flexible for managing the nurse’s own caseload. The position is based at 1013 White Horse Ave, Hamilton Township, New Jersey 08610. The listed wage range is $44.00–$60.00 per hour; compensation depends on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The position will be open for a minimum of three days.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in dialysis, including PD, HHD, chronic, or acute dialysis.
- Patient education or teaching background.
- Case management or telehealth experience.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Train patients and caregivers on peritoneal dialysis procedures and self-care.
- Manage a caseload of peritoneal dialysis patients, including assessments and care planning.
- Monitor treatment progress, conduct home visits, and provide on-call support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
