About The Position
Loyola Medicine is hiring a Registered Nurse for MacNeal Hospital's 25-bed Progressive Care Unit, which cares for patients with complex medical conditions. The unit specializes in angina, syncope, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and care before and after cardiac interventions. Cardiac Telemetry Nurses perform EKGs, interpret cardiac rhythms, administer IV cardiac medications, perform phlebotomy, and maintain ACLS certification. The role is on a 12-hour night shift. Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school or college of nursing: BSN or ADN.
- BLS Provider certification accredited by the American Heart Association, required prior to hire.
- Illinois Board of Nursing license, required prior to hire.

- ACLS certification; the posting states that Cardiac Telemetry Nurses are certified in ACLS.
