Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
About The Position
Methodist Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to join its Cardiac Telemetry team. The RN manages episodes of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers, groups, and other providers to achieve the shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. Care may be provided directly by the RN or coordinated and supervised when delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. The schedule is 0.75 FTE, with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts and work every third weekend. BSN is preferred, and it is generally expected to be completed within two years of hire if the RN enters with another qualifying nursing degree.
Requirements
- Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); it is generally expected that a BSN will be obtained within two years of hire.
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure patient safety.
