About The Position

Day Kimball Health is hiring a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our Wound Clinic in Putnam, CT. The Registered Nurse is responsible for diagnosing responses to actual or potential health problems and for providing basic emergent, supportive, and restorative care through use of the nursing process. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned responsibility.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license or holds a multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Clinically competent RN who demonstrates expertise in Wound management.
Ability to operate necessary equipment such as ABI measurements and wound VAC and the ability to apply Total Contact Cast and 3M 2-layer compression wraps.
Understanding techniques for wound measurement, pressure ulcer staging, and required documentation.
Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent within duration of orientation period.
