RN - Outpatient - Federal Contract - IHS
About The Position
Vision Quest Solutions is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses to provide exceptional outpatient care at the Indian Health Service (IHS) Eagle Butte Service Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative healthcare team while serving Native American communities in a mission-driven environment. The Ambulatory Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a busy outpatient clinic. The RN collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Contract nurses may occasionally provide short-term support to other departments based on patient care needs.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum one (1) year of recent RN experience.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Ambulatory, outpatient, family practice, primary care, or medical-surgical experience preferred.
- ACLS and PALS are preferred.
