About The Position

Pinnacle Specialty Care is a 100-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and part of Care Initiatives, which operates more than 40 skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. The Registered Nurse provides compassionate nursing care to residents and supports daily clinical operations while promoting quality care, safety, and teamwork. This is a full-time overnight weekend package role, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The position offers a competitive wage and premium weekend package pay. Requirements

Valid RN license in good standing, valid in Iowa or with the ability to activate it.
Current, valid CPR certification.
Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
Commitment to helping others and treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
