About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Acute Department uses theoretical concepts to guide practice decisions and assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for patients across the lifespan in accordance with nursing practice standards. The role implements nursing interventions, coordinates patient care and related activities, and delegates care tasks that may be provided by others. The nurse performs all duties in accordance with McBride Orthopedic Hospital’s mission, vision, and values. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
- Complete hospital and nursing competency within three months of employment and annually, and submit it to the Nurse Manager or Education Coordinator.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
