About The Position
Looking to make extra money while keeping a flexible schedule? We’re hiring Per Diem / PRN Registered Nurses in Austin, TX for an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This position offers a pay rate of $39-40/hour plus a weekend differential. The role involves providing direct nursing care, developing care plans, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, educating patients and families, and assisting patients throughout their rehabilitation and recovery. The shifts are 12-hours, either days or nights, with flexible scheduling available.
Requirements
- Active Texas RN or Compact License
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- ACLS preferred
- CRRN preferred
- 1+ year of acute care or rehabilitation hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and complete patient assessments
- Develop and follow individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate and support patients and their families
- Assist patients throughout their rehabilitation and recovery
