About The Position

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty at a hospital facility in Worcester, Massachusetts. The position is onsite for a three-month contract, working night shifts in a 4x12-hour schedule with a posted start time of 7:00 PM. The start time may be flexed by up to four hours earlier or later, very rarely, and only when an urgent staffing need arises in the department. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available. A permanent Massachusetts RN license must be in hand. The role requires the ability to read telemetry. At orientation, travelers must pass one-attempt medication and telemetry exams; failure to pass either exam immediately cancels the contract. Study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs. A flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions and declinations allowed.

Requirements

Permanent Massachusetts RN license in hand.
ACLS certification required.
BLS certification required.
PALS certification required.
At least 1.5 years of experience.
Must be able to read telemetry.
Must pass medication and telemetry exams at orientation; each exam allows one attempt.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is unavailable.
Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions and declinations are allowed.
