About The Position

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions and complex medical-surgical needs. The nurse works alongside experienced nurses, respiratory therapists, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and outcomes. The role is in the NT4 Med-Surg Respiratory unit at UHS Wilson Medical Center, with a day rotational shift and 36 regularly scheduled hours per week. The position offers opportunities to develop advanced assessment skills and strengthen clinical expertise while caring for patients with respiratory illnesses and other medical conditions. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000. Compensation is $40.70–$61.05 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Current New York State RN License.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
Professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
Relevant skills certification, such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC, as required by the assigned home unit.
