About The Position

United Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions and complex medical-surgical needs. The role is based on the NT4 Med-Surg Respiratory unit at UHS Wilson Medical Center and involves collaboration with nurses, respiratory therapists, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support patients’ recovery and outcomes. The position offers opportunities to develop assessment skills and clinical expertise while contributing to patient and family relationships and team collaboration. The role is scheduled for 36 hours per week on a day rotational shift. Compensation ranges from $40.70 to $61.05 per hour, depending on experience. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Current New York State RN license.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
Professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
Relevant skills certification, such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC, as required by the assigned home unit.
