About The Position

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse provides expert, compassionate care throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The role includes monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal status, assisting with deliveries and emergencies, and supporting mothers and families emotionally and physically. This position is part of the Labor & Delivery Night Team at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of RN experience; Labor & Delivery experience is required.
• Active South Carolina RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal status.
