Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) - Level 1 Trauma Center. This is a full-time, Weekend Night shift position, working from 7p to 7a. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, and relocation assistance is also offered. The Norfolk General Hospital's Emergency Department is a 53-bed unit and a Trauma One Facility equipped to handle a variety of medical emergencies, with approximately 10% being trauma-related. Sentara Norfolk General Emergency Department has received the Lantern Award from the Emergency Nurses' Association, honoring exceptional and innovative leadership, practice, education, advocacy, and research. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the region's first Magnet Hospital, a 525-bed medical center, serves as a primary teaching facility, and is home to the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center within a 126-mile region. The facility includes four intensive care units and two intensive care units within its 112-bed Nationally Ranked Heart Hospital.
