About The Position

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in providing nursing care in accordance with the state nurse practice act. The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

Requirements

• Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License.
• BLS through the American Heart Association (CPR); required within 30 days of hire.
• Qualifications as designated in the Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS within 6 months of hire for ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
• NRP within 6 months of hire in Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU.
