About The Position

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in providing nursing care in accordance with the state nurse practice act. The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided. This opening is for the Surgical Unit, day shift.

Requirements

• Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire for nurses hired into Surgery, among the listed departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing functions in accordance with the state nurse practice act.
• Supervise other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care.
• Assess patient needs, plan and implement patient care, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.

Benefits

• $20,000 sign-on bonus for external hires with at least two years of RN experience.
