About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Pedi Plastic specialty within the Strictly Pediatrics Medical Office Building in Austin, TX. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, and requires travel.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in high-acuity pediatric settings, specifically within ICU, NICU, or Emergency Departments.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in Plastics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high-quality nursing care by executing evidence-based clinical protocols that prioritize patient safety and recovery.
Orchestrate the multidisciplinary care team to ensure every specialist is aligned, providing the patient with a seamless and well-coordinated medical journey.
Monitor and advocate for patient health by meticulously tracking clinical conditions and communicating vital updates to the care team to ensure proactive interventions.
Drive the discharge planning process from admission through transition, collaborating with families and staff to ensure a safe and successful return home for every patient.
