Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in high-acuity pediatric settings, specifically within ICU, NICU, or Emergency Departments.
• Previous experience in Plastics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-quality nursing care by executing evidence-based clinical protocols that prioritize patient safety and recovery.
• Orchestrate the multidisciplinary care team to ensure every specialist is aligned, providing the patient with a seamless and well-coordinated medical journey.
• Monitor and advocate for patient health by meticulously tracking clinical conditions and communicating vital updates to the care team to ensure proactive interventions.
• Drive the discharge planning process from admission through transition, collaborating with families and staff to ensure a safe and successful return home for every patient.
