About The Position

Desert Valley Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide care in its Birthplace, supporting mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods. The RN delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and provides direct care within the scope of practice. The role also includes guiding patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care. The RN must respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response, help maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors, and use the chain of command when needed to support patient well-being and appropriate care.

Requirements

Current and valid state RN license.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current certification.
NRP certification within 90 days of hire and maintain current certification.
Basic Fetal Monitoring upon hire, within 60 days of hire, and maintain current certification.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
