RN Registered Nurse Pulse Cath Lab
About The Position
MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician-led institute partnering across cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and cardiovascular service lines. Its multidisciplinary team and advanced programs provide cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care, including complex structural heart interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging. The staff RN joins a hospital-based team and uses specialized training, nursing knowledge, and a multidisciplinary approach to provide care. The position supports a nursing environment where nurses participate in clinical decision-making, communicate openly, receive professional support, and develop their careers. This is a 1.0 FTE day position with 10-hour shifts. Weekday and weekend call are required.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
- Certification in a specialty area.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
- Use nursing education and experience to provide care through the nursing process, following hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience and reduce costs.
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team.
- Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
