About The Position
Pulse Heart Institute, a physician-led institute within MultiCare, provides multidisciplinary cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care. Its programs include complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging using cutting-edge technologies. The staff Registered Nurse joins a hospital-based team and uses specialized nursing knowledge and training in a multidisciplinary care environment. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or a Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Certification in a specialty area.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
- Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience while reducing costs.
- Foster a learning environment for patients and families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
- Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
