Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU Stepdown & Telemetry - Per diem Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides individualized, safe, and excellent patient care in accordance with current evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care. The role involves communicating with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members about patient status, care rendered, and treatment plans. Nurses administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies and maintain ongoing point-of-care electronic records of assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations. The position also includes educating patients and families to support health, wellness, and disease management, as well as collaborating across disciplines to support safe discharge and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
- BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire a BSN within three years of hire.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Strong accountability for improving the lives of patients and caregivers.
- Exceptional focus on teamwork.
- Dedication to ongoing education.
- Ability and passion to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care.

Responsibilities
