About The Position

Loyola Medicine is seeking Registered Nurses with Intensive Care Unit experience to provide care in the Float Pool on the day shift at Loyola University Medical Center. The role offers the opportunity to care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses while developing nursing skills in a supportive, team-oriented unit focused on treating the whole person. Registry Level II requires 8–12-hour shifts within a six-week schedule, including three weekend shifts, one winter holiday, and one summer holiday. This is a non-benefited position.

Requirements

• Experience working in an Intensive Care Unit.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• BLS Provider certification accredited by the American Heart Association, required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license, required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit as part of the Float Pool.
• Work the Registry Level II schedule of 8–12-hour shifts in a six-week period, including three weekend shifts, one winter holiday, and one summer holiday.
