Registered Nurse - Weekends
About The Position
CNS Cares is hiring full-time and part-time Registered Nurses to provide private, one-on-one care in patients’ homes. Nurses support individuals—including veterans, workers’ compensation claimants, and former energy workers—in remaining independent and comfortable at home. Shifts are 12 hours, and weekend schedules are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, for both day and night shifts. Full-time schedules require every other weekend; candidates must be available every other Saturday and Sunday. Nurses may need to travel up to 60 miles and work in multiple homes, if applicable. The posting lists a pay rate of $42.00–$50.00 per hour in the opening and $42.00–$45.00 per hour for full-time night shift; it says to apply for information about the weekend RN pay rate.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of in-home health care experience.
- Availability every other weekend, including Saturday and Sunday.
- Willingness to travel up to 60 miles.
- Willingness to work in multiple homes, if applicable.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.
- Current hands-on BLS certification.
- Current TB test, by 2-step skin test or QuantiFERON blood draw.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Promote personal safety and maintain a safe environment for clients.
- Follow agency policies, procedures, and job requirements.
- Support patients in remaining as independent and comfortable as possible at home.
