About The Position

Multiple Med Surg Registered Nurse positions are available in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, with day shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) and night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.). Compensation is $30–$48 per hour, with a $4.25-per-hour night shift differential. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to RNs with at least one year of RN experience; that experience does not need to be in a hospital. Candidates from all specialties, including LTAC, SNF, and home health, are considered. Bed assignments depend on the location and department, with proper patient ratios.

Requirements

• Current Florida RN license or compact RN license.
• At least one year of RN experience; experience may be in any specialty or setting.
• BLS and/or other certifications required for the specialty.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and exercise critical thinking and decisive judgment.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving or lifting patients and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited BSN program preferred; ASN candidates with solid experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities
