About The Position

Havasu Regional Medical Center is hiring a full-time Emergency Services Registered Nurse for a night-shift role. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

The RN provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process and applicable standards of practice. The nurse monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families; coordinates care across disciplines; and advocates for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.

The role offers a supportive night-shift team, collaborative physicians, accessible leadership, and opportunities to develop clinical expertise, advance through a hospital-based clinical ladder, and lead process-improvement and educational initiatives.

Requirements

• Current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• ACLS, PALS, TNCSS, and Handle with Care certifications.
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department or critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process and applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial or spiritual support needs.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Lead process-improvement and internal educational initiatives as opportunities arise.
