About The Position

Community Medical Center is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit. The role provides specialized care to critically ill patients in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. ICU nurses work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver advanced critical care and support patients and families throughout recovery. The position is scheduled for 12-hour night shifts, 1900–0700, with shift requirements per the union contract.

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• CCRN certification.
• Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump.
• Previous experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to acute changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards.
