About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse delivers direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This is a full-time Intensive Care position on the night shift, scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, with weekends and holidays required.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is a four-story medical center on a 40-plus-acre campus near Dallas Parkway. It will open with 51 beds and plans for expansion, with services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, and robotic surgery. The campus also includes a 40,000-square-foot medical office building. The facility is intended to serve Celina and surrounding communities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department, including ACLS.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 6 months of critical care RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
