About The Position

A Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care unit provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse delivers direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

The position is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 1845 to 0715. Weekend and holiday work is required. The role is at Methodist Celina Medical Center, a community hospital campus in Celina, Texas.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department, including ACLS.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 6 months of critical care RN experience.

• BSN preferred.
