About The Position
Gottlieb Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Operating Room team. The department has 10 OR suites and specializes in Orthopedics, Urology, Robotics, Bariatric, Eyes, Sports Medicine, and General and Vascular Surgeries. Operating Room nurses work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub technicians, and team leads, providing patient-centered care. The position is full-time on the day shift, with a schedule of either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. The workplace is Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois. Compensation depends on degree and other factors. The listed pay range is $34.76–$59.92 per hour for BSN-prepared nurses and $32.90–$57.06 per hour for ADN-prepared nurses. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles. Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school or college of nursing: BSN or ADN.
- BLS Provider certification accredited by the American Heart Association, required prior to hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Operating Room.
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub technicians, and team leads.
- Support surgical services across specialties including Orthopedics, Urology, Robotics, Bariatric, Eyes, Sports Medicine, and General and Vascular Surgeries.
