About The Position

This per-diem Registered Nurse position is in Med/Surg Tele through FirstChoice, Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. FirstChoice RNs fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. This role is night shift only and requires floating between the Grand Rapids and Muskegon locations. The stated requirement is three shifts every six weeks, with no weekends or holidays. The shift runs from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The posting lists 36 hours and a gross hourly rate of $51, with an ASAP start date. The nurse will provide professional nursing care, use the standard elements of professional practice, and act independently within their license, knowledge, experience, and scope of practice. The position requires flexibility to work across hospital locations and practice settings, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to quality improvement.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state or states of practice or employment.
Have at least 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, or PCU.
Have and maintain credentials required for the specialty area.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
