About The Position

FirstChoice, Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, employs Registered Nurses for short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. Nurses may work in different hospital locations or regions and experience a variety of practice settings. The role is for a Med Surg Tele RN at St. Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, with ongoing PRN assignments and a night shift. Nationwide and regional opportunities are available. The RN practices within their license, knowledge, and experience; follows the professional practice process of assessment, outcomes identification and planning, implementation, and evaluation; and remains accountable for delegation, decisions, and outcomes. The nurse collaborates with stakeholders, contributes to quality improvement, and adapts to new responsibilities, ideas, cultural differences, and competing priorities. The listed hourly rate is $55. The position offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel or per diem opportunities. Start date is ASAP.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state or states of practice or employment.
At least 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
