About The Position

IU Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to join its growing Gastroenterology team. The nurse will work alongside four Gastroenterology physicians and three Nurse Practitioners in a collaborative, patient-focused environment that plans to continue expanding. The role supports exceptional patient care through clinical assessment, patient education, care coordination, and partnership with providers across the continuum of care. It offers opportunities to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes and build expertise in a specialized area of nursing. After successful onboarding and training, the nurse may work a hybrid schedule that includes one remote workday per week.

Requirements

At least one year of RN experience.
An Associate of Nursing (ASN).
An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates without this qualification may be considered if they have more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Additional advanced Life Support certifications may be required based on unit or department specialty and patient care policies.
