Cath Holding Procedure RN for Cardiac, Vascular, and IR Services
About The Position
Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Cath, Vascular, and IR Lab Pre/Post department (CVIS). This role involves performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN will also adhere to standards of professional performance such as ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN must possess clinical knowledge and skills to meet the standards required by specific clinical areas.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing
- Virginia RN License Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- ACLS within 1 year of hire (for Critical Care/IMCU)
- Registered Nurse with Critical Care, PCU, ER, Cardiac, Stepdown or Recovery Room experience will be considered.
