About The Position

Wilson Medical Center is hiring a Lead Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The role provides emergency nursing care in a fast-paced setting and contributes to patient care planning and intervention, exceptional patient experiences, and patient well-being through the use of clinical skills and technology.

The department includes a 20-bed Emergency Department, six patient processing bays, and a six-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit for behavioral health patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4/5, and the department’s collaborative team includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs, paramedics, unit secretaries, and providers. The facility is a Certified Chest Pain and Primary Stroke Center, with an average daily census of 106 patients.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• At least one year of RN Emergency Department experience.
