About The Position

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse (RN) for their Emergency Department. This full-time night position involves rotating holidays and weekends. The role focuses on utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention, serving as a patient-care innovator, shaping exceptional patient journeys, and leveraging skills and technology to impact patient wellbeing. The Emergency Department is a busy 20-bed unit with 6 patient processing bays and a 6-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit for Behavioral Health patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4/5. The department is a Certified Chest Pain and Primary Stroke Center, serving an average daily census of 106 patients. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Current state RN license.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
One year of RN ED experience required.

TNCC, NRP, ENPC, CEN preferred.
