About The Position
Join the team as a full-time Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse in Tyler, Texas. The role has a variable shift schedule. The RN is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients during a designated time frame. UT Health Tyler is the system’s flagship hospital, serving hundreds of thousands of people annually. It provides advanced acute care and has a Level I trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program, and a Level III NICU. Its medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Maintain a current Texas RN License.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
