Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

Nice To Haves

  • Seeking a Registered Nurse with 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally within an outpatient or rheumatology setting.
  • Infusion experience is preferred, but the candidate demonstrates a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in providing comprehensive patient education and navigating the insurance authorization process for specialty medications and diagnostic imaging is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and continuous monitoring of personalized patient care plans to ensure every individual receives treatment tailored to their specific recovery goals.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams as the primary point of contact, ensuring seamless communication across all clinical specialties for holistic patient support.
  • Advocate for patient safety by diligently executing physician orders and maintaining precise records of the care journey to uphold the highest standards of quality.
  • Assess and facilitate comprehensive discharge strategies, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patients have a safe, well-supported transition home.
