About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Primary Care Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) in Nashville, Tennessee. VUMC is a community focused on advancing health and wellness through patient care, education, and research. The Registered Nurse will apply the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. They will effectively communicate patient/family information to the healthcare team, collaborate on patient goals, and evaluate progress. The role also involves furthering professional growth through learning activities as per Board of Nursing standards. The clinic operates Monday-Friday with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Responsibilities

Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
