About The Position

Join Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Irving as a Registered Nurse on the 28-bed, cardiac-based Telemetry Unit. This fast-paced, team-focused, patient-centered unit delivers high-quality care and aims for positive patient outcomes. The unit has received Magnet designation three times.

The patient population includes cardiac patients (including EP, post-cath lab, and CHF), renal and pulmonary patients (including pneumonia and respiratory failure), and occasional medical-surgical overflow. Patient ratios are 1:4–5. The department emphasizes patient-centered care and shared governance among nurses and UAPs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program.
• Nursing must be the specialized field of study.
• Active RN license.
• BLS certification, or obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting in the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care to patients on the Telemetry Unit.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care and work toward positive patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the inter-professional care team.
