About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care for Elderly (ACE) Unit at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The ACE unit provides compassionate, evidence-based care for older adults in a safe and supportive environment. As a NICHE-designated and Age-Friendly Health System, the unit prioritizes dignity, independence, and holistic well-being. The team works collaboratively to deliver personalized treatment plans addressing medical needs and ensuring high standards of geriatric care. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• At least one year RN experience
