About The Position

The Acute Care Elderly Unit (ACE) is a 16-bed unit at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, providing compassionate, evidence-based care for older adults in a safe and supportive environment. As a NICHE-designated and Age-Friendly Health System, the unit prioritizes dignity, independence, and holistic well-being, with a team that collaboratively delivers personalized treatment plans ensuring high standards of geriatric care. As a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • At least one year RN experience
