About The Position

This position is for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care Elderly Unit (ACE) at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The ACE unit is a 16-bed unit dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for older adults in a safe and supportive environment. As a NICHE-designated and Age-Friendly Health System, the unit prioritizes dignity, independence, and holistic well-being for every patient, with a team that works collaboratively to deliver personalized treatment plans and ensure high standards of geriatric care. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • At least one year RN experience
