About The Position

Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Rehab Neighborhood at the Suites of Someren Glen. The nurse leads resident care from planning through evaluation, providing individualized care that supports residents’ overall well-being. The role works closely with physicians, pharmacists, families, and other care partners, and includes mentoring and supervising nursing and support staff. The organization emphasizes professional growth, clinical judgment, teamwork, and care for older adults.

Requirements

Colorado Registered Nursing License in good standing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Advanced training in geriatrics.
One year of experience in a long-term care facility.
One year of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, carry out, and evaluate all aspects of resident care in accordance with state and federal regulations and community policies.
Keep nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and families informed about residents’ status.
Listen to concerns from residents, families, and physicians and take corrective action or escalate concerns as needed.
Participate in Resident Care conferences and keep Resident Care Plans accurate and up to date.
Prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders; manage medication ordering, including replacing expired medications.
Document resident care issues and report them to appropriate personnel.
Recognize signs and symptoms and use clinical judgment to select appropriate treatments and procedures.
Supervise and direct CNAs and other support staff, taking corrective action when needed.
Support the team with other duties as needed.
