About The Position
Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Maranatha team in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Maranatha is a senior living community with assisted living apartments, a care center, and transitional care where 24-hour skilled nursing care is provided. The community offers assisted living, long-term care, long-term care with memory care, transitional care/rehabilitation, and senior independent living apartments. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides and monitors high-quality clinical care and services to residents in accordance with regulations and established clinical best practices. The role is part-time, with PM or NOC shift openings, and all schedules include every other weekend. PHS is a nonprofit, faith-based organization whose mission is to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of older adults. Team members work in a supportive, community-based environment focused on residents’ needs and are offered opportunities for movement and growth.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure with the State Board of Nursing in the state or states where the candidate practices.
- Current CPR certification.
- Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative, and restorative clinical practices.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with all customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices.
- Monitor the quality of clinical care and services provided to residents.
