About The Position
As a part-time Registered Nurse, you will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring patients and their families receive needed support. The role is important in fostering effective communication within the healthcare team and finding solutions to meet patient goals. The position is 20 hours weekly and is with the Henry Ford Medical Group, which provides coordinated care across primary and specialty practices.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- RN Circulator experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and their families.
- Communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
- Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
