About The Position
Ambulatory Registered Nurses provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting. They record patient histories, perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and develop patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. They assist physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Available roles include Endoscopy, PACU, or Circulator. The position is in the Ambulatory Surgery Center at St Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience in healthcare preferred.
